Company Profile

Founded in August 2022 and headquartered in Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, Mellow Energy has world-leading single-junction and tandem technologies. The company has repeatedly set world efficiency records for large-area perovskite modules on both glass and flexible substrates, maintaining a leading position in perovskite photovoltaics. Its products are widely applicable to ground power stations, building-integrated photovoltaics, and mobile energy scenarios, and also show strong potential in miniaturized fields such as indoor light harvesting and consumer electronics.

The company has 34 authorized patents, more than 50 patents under application, and over ten core-journal papers covering multiple segments of perovskite industrialization. Honors include China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition National Top 100 (12th), three consecutive years as a leading enterprise in perovskite photovoltaics, certifications as a technology-based SME and an innovative SME, the title of Guangdong Specialized and Sophisticated SME, the 2024-2025 Perovskite PV Module Innovation Technology Award, and the APVIA Science and Technology Achievement Award. In November 2024, the company built the Greater Bay Area's first 2 m2-class 100MW production line in Zhuhai, with initial modules reaching 17.9% efficiency and certified by TUV Rheinland.

The flexible perovskite Sujian Series is a core product line. Its 30x30 cm2 flexible module reached 21.13% conversion efficiency, setting a world record for that area class. In March 2026, the self-developed 1.5 m2 Sujian flexible module achieved 19.10% certified conversion efficiency by third-party authority TUV NORD, setting a world record for flexible perovskite modules above one square meter. The company's 2 m2 Xuanyu rigid perovskite module achieved 20.28% full-area conversion efficiency under TUV SUD certification, also setting a world record.

In the future, the company will continue relying on Jinan University's research strengths to drive innovation and application of perovskite photovoltaics and contribute to global green development.
